Alexander Piñeiro is a Puerto Rican actor, comedian, and filmmaker born in New York City. Raised on 90s cartoons, comic books, and hip-hop, he developed an early passion for storytelling and performance. The son of a musician father and a model and visual artist mother, Piñeiro grew up surrounded by creativity and hard work, influences that continue to shape his artistic voice.

He began studying filmmaking at 18 and was writing and directing theatrical productions by 19. Piñeiro graduated Cum Laude from Brooklyn College, where his thesis short film Retribution screened at multiple festivals, including the Orlando Film Festival and the AT Hollywood Festival. He has since created several independent short films and experimental projects through his production banner AP Suave Studios while developing additional projects across film, television, and animation.

As an actor, Piñeiro is known for his role in the series City on Fire on Apple TV+. His training includes improv and stand-up comedy, and he brings strong physicality to his performances through martial arts training in Muay Thai and Iaido, as well as boxing. In addition to performing, he has taught theater and screenwriting to young students as an after-school instructor and currently volunteers as a storytelling mentor for youth programs in Los Angeles.

Piñeiro is a member of the National Association of Latino Independent Producers and continues to pursue work as both a performer and creator while developing original projects in premium drama, comedy, and animation.
